Skavio Transcribe has been tested for long jobs and queue recovery
Long audio and video create a different operational challenge from short voice notes: jobs must survive waiting, processing and service restarts without losing track of the result. Skavio Transcribe has completed measured tests covering these parts of the workflow.
A real two-hour source completed end to end
In a measured readiness test, a real two-hour source completed the full workflow in about 4 minutes 54 seconds. OpenAI transcription itself took about 2 minutes 14 seconds of that time. This is a test result, not a universal delivery promise: actual processing depends on the source and audio quality.
The queue remains visible while work is waiting
Transcribe runs two processing jobs concurrently. Additional jobs enter a persistent first-in, first-out queue rather than disappearing into an opaque waiting state. In the Mini App, queued customers can see their queue position and an approximate estimated-start range. Processing, finalizing and completed states remain visible as the job moves through the system.
Restart recovery was tested with long jobs
Skavio tested persistent queue and restart recovery with two real two-hour jobs in an isolated test database using the production queue and recovery modules. Both jobs completed after the recovery test, and no duplicate delivery was observed. A separate concurrency test also confirmed that two distinct jobs could be safely claimed at the same time while a third remained queued.
What this means for users
For longer recordings, the practical benefit is continuity: a busy service can show where a job stands, preserve queued work and recover interrupted processing instead of requiring the user to guess whether a submission survived. Supported paid processing failures also retain the automatic Telegram Stars refund path. Accuracy still depends on audio quality, and third-party access limitations can affect some sources; YouTube is currently not supported from the production server because of upstream bot checks.
The goal is not to make a long job look instant; it is to make its progress and recovery understandable.
